We are looking for a highly motivated hands-on individual with an upbeat can-do attitude to join our team.
We are in the middle of transforming our company from the ground up to provide lower lead times and higher quality products to our customers and we need your help to do it.
This is not a slow-paced work environment and is for an individual who likes to stay moving throughout the day.
Standard working hours are 6am-2pm M-F.
Essential Functions & Duties:
Perform regular assembly line tasks in addition to team lead duties.
This is a working team lead position, not a supervisory only position.
Be able to safely operate production equipment, power tools, carts, hand tools, and hoists.
Read, comprehend, and strictly follow all documented processes and procedures.
Review drawings and follow the bill of materials to make sure equipment is assembled correctly.
Must be able to read a tape measure.
Use time clock system for time keeping purposes, at start and end of each shift.
Use computer to utilize ERP system to log in and track time by item and job.
Review BOM's and scheduled production start dates.
Profiencey in Microsoft Office is a must.
Excel & word specifically Meet or exceed daily production goals and quality requirements.
Ability to lift products weighing up to 50+lbs.
Be forklift certified or be willing to be certified on-site.
Possess the ability to work in a team environment and provide coaching for others.
Manage a team of 3-4 assemblers.
Keep direct reports on task Must be available to work overtime.
Able to perform in an un-conditioned working environment.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must practice good attendance.
Must be able to pass background check.
Review and approve PTO requests for assembly team based on production schedule demands.
Responsible for personal safety procedures and always wearing required PPE.
Maintain daily housekeeping procedures and schedules.
Make assembly area maintains 5S standards.
Perform additional duties as required by supervisor.
