Medical Billing Specialist

If you have at least 4 years of experience with full cycle medical claims billing and follow-up including denials, rejections, remittance, and payment posting we want to talk to you.
Must possess outstanding organizational skills, a positive, problem-solving attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities Work through a denials file to resolve claim denials or claims that have not been processed by the payer.
Provide insurance representatives with accurate information regarding a claim to check status of payment and resolve any questions, process payments, and follow up on accounts in a timely manner Work online payer systems to check for claim status as needed Work correspondence / returned mail to ensure patients and insurance requests are being handled in a timely manner Maintain productivity goals and meet deadlines set by the Supervisor.
Ability to answer questions about billing and payments with patients.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications 4
years medical revenue cycle experience in a physician office Strong service mentality and focus on achieving goals.
Considerate and supporting communication style.
Ability to lead and prioritize multiple tasks at a time in a dynamic environment without constant supervision.
Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop a plan of action to improve, implement and evaluate plan effectively.
Experience collaborating with multiple payers (government and commercial), denials, account resolution, patient collections, etc.
Experience with Experity and OmniMD EHR is a plus Job Type:
