JOB DESCRIPTION First Class is growing and we have an immediate opening for a well-organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate AP/AR processing and providing exceptional administrative support to our sales and service teams and customers.
Experience in automotive repairs is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES On any given day, the variety of tasks may vary and could include:
- Post, receive and pay accounts payable/receivable - Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customers as well as vendor and credit payments - Manage monthly tax, expense and loan obligations - Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies - Perform general office tasks including answering/directing phone calls, filing, and sending/receiving packages - Maintain organized filing systems both physically and electronically - Create financial, sales and other reports as needed - Assist with payroll and inventory as needed - Provide clerical support as needed - Perform other duties as identified QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum of HSD/GED, Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred - Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable or similar role - Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks Enterprise - Excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team - Exceptional communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills - High level of professionalism and ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently - Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity PREFERRED QUALS, not required - Notary - CB certification NOTE:
