Tool Technician
The ideal candidate would be able to perform the following job duties:
Setup new / repaired tools on arbors or bodies for 1st time use
Replace insert type tools and properly set in body
Properly maintain tool bodies, arbors and holders
Operate Parlec tool presetter for properly setting tools
Sharpen carbide brazed tools by using automatic tool grinder
Clean diamond tools as needed
Change various size and type saw blades on machines
Rebuild various types of nail guns
Maintain inventory of rebuild parts
Package tools for shipping to service vendors
Prepare shipping requisition
Create requisition for non-SKU tools and parts
Work with machine operators and tool vendors on tooling issues
Organize and maintain remote tool storages areas

Assist outside tool vendors when on-site service is required
Maintain daily tool change records
Develop good communication with production team
Prior manufacturing experience a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
