Project Administrative Assistant

United Infrastructure Group, Inc. (UIG) is hiring road and bridge construction managers, superintendents, engineers, accounting, and administrative staff to complete a couple of major design-build highway and bridge infrastructure projects in the greater Charlotte region, as well as other design-build and bid-build transportation work throughout the Carolinas ranging in size from $50M to $400M. The initial assignments will last 3 to 4 years, include full benefits and allowances, have generous performance incentives, provide ample growth opportunities, and lead to many long-term career opportunities. Several positions are immediately available and others will phase in over the next 6 months. Basic requirements and/or characteristics that are most desirable include: recent and relevant experience (with NCDOT and SCDOT a plus), college degree, professional certifications a plus, highly motivated attitude, strong leadership skills, high moral/ethical standards, great safety and quality record, team player that is genuinely interested in well-being of others, confident and organized, innovative and technically savvy, engaged in the construction industry (such as AGC and ARTBA), recommendations from prior clients and employers, etc. Applications for the following positions are currently being accepted:

Project Administrative Assistant ($20K to $30K)
Requirements - 2 years relevant experience, administrative and reporting skills, Microsoft Office and other computer and smart technology familiarization, ability to prioritize and manage administrative assignments, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, written and verbal communications, administrative supply inventory and management, professional
Duties - Provides office/administrative services by implementing administrative systems, procedures and policies in support of the project's functional administrative responsibilities including but not limited to construction operations and project management, accounting and controller activities, HSE, quality, fleet and facilities management. Responsible for providing information related to project inquiries and assists in completing operational requirement by scheduling, expediting and completing administrative assignments. Contributes to the overall team effort by accomplishing administrative duties effectively and efficiently. Strong interpersonal and organizational skill a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
